“AM I FREE ?”

Naturally, human in its existence lived according to his freedom - his ability to choose and act and to make decisions particularly in his life as a whole. This is one of the basic characteristics of man that evidently separates him from the other form of animal.
The formula that man is free is right but the interpretations of this can often be wrong. There are many contemporary affirmations of the word freedom that falls to a false realization for although human nature embedded with human acts as free but not all man actions are products of the ethical concept of freedom where responsibility and commitment is a must - like for instance, a man who discharged urine from his body is a man’s freedom but when he discharged his urine to the face of the other person, it is not anymore a freedom enclosed with morality but a forged freedom. It is outside humanity, where freedom is absurd. Freedom implies not just a mere choice but also responsibility for choice.
When I first met the word freedom, doing the things that pleased me the most is the concept I stood for, such as stealing money from my parents, going outside without permission and teasing my friends without minding that it hurts them. Even the idea of doing things whatever I must was seemingly interlude in me. It was only changed when I entered seminary where I found the real meaning of it - “to do what we ought to do” and ought implies goal, purpose, morality and accord to the law of God.
But even then, I was still confused from so many ideas outside my knowledge, as people say, ” How can you be free if you are following God’s will and not your will?” It sounds deceiving yet it moved my faith, but then I was in my stillness and tried to overcome it. Now, I am really sure that true freedom is within the law and not outside it. Example, I am free to draw a human image and because I am free, I draw a human without eyes and mouth. Is the human I draw is the real human we knew? Absolutely no, it’s an alien and not a human. The law of humna implied with complete physical appearances unless if he or she is disabled but that is exceptional.So, this how law works effectively with freedom. In the spiritual realm, it is in obeying the law of God I feel free, as scripture says, “Where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”
As synopsis, Freedom for me is not something taken but something given. To give what is necessary and what is lawful to God. By doing this I can say that I am really free.

if you dont have time, maybe read more about Arminianism…thanks by the way for the writings, i am going to use your ideas in my brother’s homework…i’m tired of getting my brain work i’ll just use yours…
